Chicago Tennis Classic: Clijsters did not lose the match in Chicago, last year's return to the tennis court

 Kim Clijsters, who returned to the tennis court last year, suffered a first-round defeat at the Chicago Tennis Classic tournament. She was defeated by Hesh Sui Wei of Taiwan. She has appeared in four tournaments since her return to tennis, but Clijsters is awaiting her first win. 

Belgium's Kim Clijsters, 38, lost her first round match at the Chicago Tennis Classic on her return to the WTA Tour. She was defeated by Taiwan's Hesh Sui Wei 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 in a three-set match that lasted two hours and 18 minutes. The former world number one player had earlier played in the US Open last year where she lost in the first round. After that, due to a knee injury in October and Kovid-19 in January, she stayed away from tennis. She has played in four events since her comeback but victory is still far away but she hasn't lost her spirits.

The mother of three children, who has won the Grand Slam title, who wakes up at five in the morning, lives in New Jersey. He got a wild card for the Shikao Open. Kim said that some things went well for me and some were bad. The most important thing for me is that I talked to my coach, trainer and fitness coach that I tried to stay in the match consistently. Came close to winning. Clijsters won the US Open in 2005, then repeated his successes in 2009 and 2010. He then won the title at the Australian Open in 2011.  

Jebur to face Hesh

35-year-old Hesh, who reached the quarter-finals of this year's Australian Open, will now face sixth seed Os Jabur, who got a bye in the first round. Apart from this, Danielle Collins, Jessica Pegula and Veronika Kudrematova also made it to the next round. America's Madison Keys had to retire due to a shoulder injury in her first round match against Belarus's Alejandra Sasnovich.

There are plans to play doubles as well.

Clijsters is currently in Chicago and intends to play doubles with compatriot Kristen Flipkens but is not sure of plans later in the season. She said that if I am fit, I can play in Indian Wells. The intention is also to play in world team tennis.
